How I work

Four steps to your goal

A structured process that works for beginners and performance cyclists alike.

    Consultation

    We start with a questionnaire, call or in-person meeting. I learn your goals, time availability and current fitness level.

  2. 02

    Test

    Performance diagnostics — FTP test or another protocol based on your level. We define exact training zones.

  3. 03

    Plan

    I build a weekly plan in TrainingPeaks and adjust it continuously based on your response and life situation.

  4. 04

    Analysis

    After each session I analyze the data in detail and send you feedback. We communicate flexibly via WhatsApp.

About

Jakub Lohyňa

Professional strength and conditioning coach and cycling coach.

I've been working as a strength and conditioning coach for 12 years. I continually educate myself and follow the latest trends and scientific findings in sports and training.

Over the past 5 years, I've been actively involved in cycling, which has become my passion. I've come to understand that the best coach is the one who turns power meter data into a plan that actually moves the cyclist forward.

My work is deeply fulfilling, and I believe that through a combination of experience and continuous growth, I can help anyone reach their athletic goals.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a bike with a power meter for cycling training?
Not necessarily. A power meter significantly improves training precision, but if you don't have one yet, we can start with heart rate and gradually move to power zones.
How quickly will I see results?
First noticeable improvement in fitness typically comes after 4–6 weeks. Real changes in FTP and endurance need 3–6 months of consistent work.
Can I start with no fitness level at all?
Yes. The beginner plan is designed exactly for that — to build base endurance and create training habits without injury risk.
How does communication work?
Training is planned via TrainingPeaks. Day-to-day communication is via WhatsApp — I respond flexibly. Once a month we have a longer check-in call.
Do you train triathletes or MTB riders?
Yes. The training principles are similar; I adapt the plan to the discipline's specifics and your target events.
What's the commitment period?
The cooperation runs on a monthly basis, no long-term contract. You can pause or cancel at any time.
